"Dare ... I can’t begin to describe the responses from our son, daughter-in-law and her parents upon opening their gifts and seeing the paintings! Stunned, surprised, taken back, astonished – and ever so delighted! Before opening, we stated that if they didn’t like their gifts, we wanted them back…..well, needless to say, they won’t be giving the paintings back.
The tradition on Christmas Day at our daughter-in-law’s folks’ place is a wonderful open house – filled with family and friends throughout the day – until midnight actually!
